PMT-

The model is called Predictive Model Tool (PMT). It is a large interactive Excel workbook that uses several sub-models that allows you to predict your future pharmacy drug spend.

With an input of your pharmacy claims experience, the PMT can adjust for any combination of plan design changes and show you the “what if” results. The base of all calculations comes from the input of your own pharmacy claims experience. From this base, the model adjusts the ultimate future drug spend with the calculated trend and potential changes of PBM pricing, drug coverage, Benefit Design components and even the chosen PBM.

The program is instrumental in consulting but is in a form that can be leased and even loaded on your Company’s computers. Updates and technical assistance is done via the web.
